What are the precautions for centrifugal pump maintenance

Date:2022-11-25
Centrifugal pumps rely on high-speed rotating impellers, and the liquid gains energy under the action of inertial centrifugal force to increase the pressure. Before the pump works, the pump body and the water inlet pipe should be filled with water to prevent cavitation. When the impeller rotates quickly, the blades make the water rotate quickly, and the rotating water flies away from the impeller under the action of centrifugal force. After the water in the pump is thrown out, the central part of the impeller forms a vacuum area. The water from the water source is pressed into the water inlet pipe through the pipe network under the action of atmospheric pressure (or water pressure). The circulation is endless like this, just can realize continuous pumping.
Centrifugal pumps need regular maintenance and maintenance:
Check whether the centrifugal pump pipeline and joints are loose. Turn the centrifugal pump by hand to see if the centrifugal pump is flexible.
Start the motor, when the centrifugal pump is running normally, open the outlet pressure gauge and the inlet vacuum pump to see the appropriate pressure, then gradually open the gate valve, and check the load of the motor at the same time.
During the operation of the centrifugal pump, the bearing temperature should not exceed the ambient temperature of 35C, and the high temperature should not exceed 80C.
Frequently adjust the packing gland to ensure that the dripping in the stuffing chamber is normal (preferably dripping out).
Add bearing lubricating oil to the bearing body, observe that the oil level should be at the center line of the oil mark, and the lubricating oil should be replaced or replenished in time.
The centrifugal pump should change the lubricating oil every 100 hours within a few months of operation, and change the oil once every 500 hours thereafter.
When the centrifugal pump is used in the cold winter season, after parking, it is necessary to unscrew the drain plug at the lower part of the pump body to drain the medium to prevent frost cracking.
Try to control the flow and head of the centrifugal pump within the range indicated on the label to ensure that the centrifugal pump runs at the right point, so as to obtain the greatest energy-saving effect.

Cryogenic centrifugal pump

Cryogenic centrifugal pump
Centrifugal cryogenic liquid pumps are mainly used for the transportation of cryogenic liquids (liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, liquefied natural gas) between storage tanks and between storage tanks and tankers. It can greatly shorten the liquid delivery time and reduce liquid waste. At the same time, the centrifugal cryogenic liquid pump has been widely used in various air separation devices.
Centrifugal cryogenic liquid pump produced by our company has many advantages, such as compact structure, smooth operation, long life, low noise and convenient maintenance. Its excellent performance and reasonable price have been well received by users at home and abroad, and it has become the best choice to replace imported products.
