The centrifugal cryopump uses the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the impeller to increase the pressure of the cryogenic liquid to achieve the purpose of transportation.

When the pump works, the cryogenic liquid is rotated with the impeller on the one hand, and flows out from the rotating impeller at the same time.

Working principle of centrifugal pump

When the centrifugal pump is working, it relies on the pressure difference between the pump and the outside to continuously suck the liquid into the pump, and the liquid obtains kinetic energy by the high-speed rotation of the impeller; the kinetic energy of the liquid is absorbed by the diffuser tube or guide vane. converted into pressure energy.

3. Submerged pump

Cryogenic submerged pump is a high-speed centrifugal liquid pump used in a low temperature environment, and its impeller works below the liquid surface. When the motor drives the impeller to rotate, the impeller does work on the low-temperature medium, and the medium obtains pressure energy and velocity energy from the impeller. When the medium flows through the deflector, part of the velocity energy will be converted into static pressure energy. When the medium is ejected from the impeller, the center of the impeller becomes a low-pressure area, which forms a pressure difference with the pressure of the suction liquid surface, so the liquid is continuously sucked in and discharged with a certain pressure.

The cryogenic submersible pump is a power output device for cryogenic media (liquefied natural gas, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon), which can be used in places where a large amount of cryogenic media needs to be transported quickly. The pump has zero leakage of medium during operation.
