Cryogenic Pumps Manufacturers

Cryogenic liquid pumps (cryogenic pumps) are special pumps used to transport cryogenic liquids (such as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, liquid hydrocarbons, and liquefied natural gas) in petroleum, air separation, and chemical plants. In air separation, it is mainly used to transport liquid products, such as liquid oxygen pumps, liquid nitrogen pumps and liquid argon pumps and other cryogenic liquid pumps.. 
According to different working principles, cryogenic pumps are mainly divided into two types: reciprocating (piston) and centrifugal.
The centrifugal pump has a large flow rate and low pressure, while the piston pump has a small flow rate and high pressure.

1. Piston or reciprocating cryogenic pump
As cryogenic pumps manufacturer, we provide piston or reciprocating cryogenic pumps ranging from MRP pumps (used for the high-pressure filling of air gasses) to specialized pumps for the use of LNG, Lin, Lox ,Lar and other liquefied gasses.
Reciprocating cryogenic pump is a kind of positive displacement compression machinery.It uses a piston (plunger) to reciprocate in the working chamber of the hydraulic cylinder, so that the volume of the working chamber changes periodically to realize the whole process of suction-compression-discharge.

2.Cryogenic centrifugal pump
The centrifugal cryopump uses the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the impeller to increase the pressure of the cryogenic liquid to achieve the purpose of transportation.
When the pump works, the cryogenic liquid is rotated with the impeller on the one hand, and flows out from the rotating impeller at the same time.

Working principle of centrifugal pump
When the centrifugal pump is working, it relies on the pressure difference between the pump and the outside to continuously suck the liquid into the pump, and the liquid obtains kinetic energy by the high-speed rotation of the impeller; the kinetic energy of the liquid is absorbed by the diffuser tube or guide vane. converted into pressure energy.

3. Submerged pump
Cryogenic submerged pump is a high-speed centrifugal liquid pump used in a low temperature environment, and its impeller works below the liquid surface. When the motor drives the impeller to rotate, the impeller does work on the low-temperature medium, and the medium obtains pressure energy and velocity energy from the impeller. When the medium flows through the deflector, part of the velocity energy will be converted into static pressure energy. When the medium is ejected from the impeller, the center of the impeller becomes a low-pressure area, which forms a pressure difference with the pressure of the suction liquid surface, so the liquid is continuously sucked in and discharged with a certain pressure.
The cryogenic submersible pump is a power output device for cryogenic media (liquefied natural gas, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon), which can be used in places where a large amount of cryogenic media needs to be transported quickly. The pump has zero leakage of medium during operation.
